WAV files are a Microsoft and IBM audio file format standard for storing an audio bitstream on PCs. It is the main format used on Windows systems for raw and typically uncompressed audio. The usual bitstream encoding is the linear pulse-code modulation (LPCM) format.

Specification[edit]

This is a file format of general use (not LBA-exclusive). See Wikipedia article.

However the header of extracted LBA2 wav file do not start with "0x52,0x49,0x46,0x46" (ascii code for RIFF) as expected but with "0x00,0x49,0x46,0x46". Extracted file may seem invalid for some program due to this only difference.
